The Operations Bureau consists of three Divisions:
Uniform Patrol Division
Special Operations Division
Emergency Management Division

Within the Patrol Division, there are four squads.  Each of these squads has one Sergeant, one Corporal and four Deputies.  These squads work twelve hour shifts and are supervised by a Lieutenant/Watch Commander. The Uniform Patrol Division is responsible for answering all law enforcement calls for service, as well as,  pro-active patrol work for Baker County.

Within the Special Operations Division are the Investigations Section as the Professional Services Section which are commanded by a Lieutenant.  The Investigations Section is responsible for investigating all reported crimes within Baker County to include property crimes, persons crimes, homicides, fraud, and narcotics violations.

Professional Services Section includes School Resource Officer Unit, Law Enforcement Accreditation Unit, Reserve Deputy Unit, Shoals Park Unit, Warrants/Civil Unit, and Victims Advocates Unit.

The Emergency Management Division consists of the Communications Section, the 911 Unit, and the Information Technology Unit.  The Emergency Management Division is supervised by one Lieutenant, who serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Baker County. In addition, the Emergency Management Lieutenant serves as the supervisor for the Communications Section, the 911 Unit, and the Information Technology Unit. Currently this Lieutenant is also responsible for all training and maintenance of training records for all BCSO employees.
